GORILLA TREKKING SAFARI IN UGANDA
SAFARI TO: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK:
DURATION: 3DAYS / 2NIGHTS
Day 1: Meet
and Greet a Hotel in Kampala for Safari Briefing.
Depart at 0700hrs for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (9hrs). Lunch
en route. Dinner and overnight at Volcano tented Camp.
Day 2: After
Breakfast Transfer to Staging Area. Briefing by Head Ranger.
Begin Gorilla Tracking Expedition Style, escorted by Rangers.
Late Lunch with dinner and overnight at Volcano Tented Camp.
Day 3: After
Breakfast drive back to Kampala (9hrs) Lunch en route - transferred back
to your Hotel.
GORILLA TREK 5 NIGHTS
There can be few experiences in the world more memorable and magical than an
encounter with mountain gorillas of East Africa. A limited number of permits
are issued for each day.
Day 1: KAMPALA
You will be met at the airport by our representative and transferred to the
Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: LAKE BUNYONYI
Drive through the scenic countryside to Lake Bunyonyi with picnic lunch
arriving in the early evening. L. Bunyonyi is an irregular shaped lake with
a number of islands and surrounding hills. The area is great for boat trips
on the lake. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: BWINDI FOREST
In the morning, a short hike or fishing and canoeing on the lake. In the
afternoon a drive through beautiful mountain scenery to arrive at your camp
on the edge of Bwindi Forest for the Night. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: GORILLA TREKKING
A full day trekking for gorilla. Gorillas are fairly used to human contact,
they live in family sizes of six.
Return for late lunch at the Camp. Meals and overnight at the Camp.
Day 5: ENTEBBE
Leave after breakfast and drive back to Entebbe with lunch en route.
Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 6: DEPARTURE
Transfer for departure.
QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK & MERCHISON FALLS 7 NIGHTS
Day 1: KAMPALA
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the
Hotel.
Day 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Drive through the beautiful countryside, across the equator, to Mbarara for
lunch and then on to Queen Elizabeth Park, famous for its great herds of
elephants. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Park.
Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK
Visit Isinga Island on . Edward, below the Rwenzori mountains to look for
the Chimpanzees. In the afternoon a boat cruise on Kizinga channel to see
the buffalo, hippo, crocodile and a wide variety of bird life. Dinner and
overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: MURCHISON FALLS
A full day's drive through the scenic country in the shadow of the mountains
of the Moon, to arrive at Murchison Falls Park late afternoon. Overnight at
the Lodge.
Day 5: MURCHISON FALLS
In the morning a river cruise to the foot of the falls. In the afternoon a
game drive in the park. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6: MURCHISON FALLS
The "Shoe Bill Cruise" to the delta, with a chance of seeing this rare bird
and many species of wild life. Afternoon at Leisure. Meals and overnight at
the Lodge.
Day 7: ENTEBBE
Drive to the top of the falls and explore the area before driving back to
Entebbe with lunch en route.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer for departure

Extra Information:
Please Note that Gorilla Tracking is a strenuous activity and one should
be physically fit to enjoy this Safari. Minimum tracking age is 15yrs.
Anyone with sings of communicable diseases will NOT be allowed to track. While
possession of a Gorilla Permit is a guarantee of trekking and sighting
the gorillas, the quality of the gorilla trekking can not be guaranteed.
Maximum Time allowed with the Gorillas will NOT exceed ONE HOUR.
We strongly
Recommend
the following: Rain poncho (lightweight), long sleeve shirt, water
proof trousers, sturdy hiking boots, leather gardening type gloves, sunscreen,
insect repellent and any necessary medication must be brought by yourselves
from your home town or Kampala. Sill Cameras and Camcorders are allowed
but bring batteries and film from Kampala.
Please understand
that gorilla permits are booked on a "Fist come first served"
CASH Basis and therefore can be snapped up by anybody. Please do make
a decision as soon as you can in order to avoid disappointments later.
